How your share is decided

Every reward in Goat Street is split by weight. Weight is not a balance you top up — it is a property of your NFT, and it comes from exactly two places:
The rarity multiplier is fixed at mint and never changes. The level multiplier is earned by holding, and is the only part you control.

The seven tiers

Each NFT belongs to one of seven broker tiers, assigned by the artwork’s own metadata before a single token was minted.
The ladder is deliberately non-linear. It was fitted to observed floor prices across tiers so that a holder’s share of revenue tracks what the market already pays for their NFT, rather than imposing a curve the market disagrees with.

The table is frozen

The tier assignment was published, committed on-chain, and then sealed. Two properties make it verifiable rather than a promise:

Committed before registration

Both setters refuse once any NFT has registered. Weights could not be chosen after anyone knew who held what.

Hashed against the source

Sealing recorded a hash of the metadata file the table was derived from, so anyone can reproduce the assignment from the published source and check it matches the chain.

Rarity and level multiply

They do not replace each other. 21.60× is the widest spread the system can produce — a King at the top level against an Intern at the base.
The gap between two NFTs at the same level is always exactly their rarity ratio. A King at level 4 is 7.20× an Intern at level 4, the same as at level 0. The ladder never widens the gap between tiers; it only widens the gap between holders who stay and holders who do not. That separation is deliberate. If the climb tracked weight, a King Broker would reach the top in three weeks against an Intern’s five months. Rarity is meant to be an advantage bought once at mint, not one that compounds on its own.

What changes your weight

The level does not survive a sale — or any transfer. A buyer always starts at level 0, and moving the NFT between your own wallets looks the same to the contract. Before transferring, collect anything owed to you. Royalty credit belongs to the NFT and transfers to the buyer along with the wallet it pays into, so anything you have not withdrawn goes with the goat.
